In this paper, we report record optical-amplification free performance using our designed silicon photonics C + L band and O band ring-resonator modulators suitable for high energy-efficiency optical interconnects. Latvian deep tech company AP4PIC is creating polymer-integrated photonic microchips, including designing and developing microchip components. Simply put, these are microchips that use light instead of electrical signals to process. GIGALIGHT provides the smart box tools for online coding of SFP, XFP, SFP+, QSFP+, and QSFP28 optics, as well as wavelength tuning for 10G tunable XFP/SFP+ optical transceivers.
